I was born in the state of Vermont (USA) in 1958 and grew up in the countryside of Vermont smack in the middle of a large apple orchard. This was my playground during a time when parents did not have to worry about their children while they were out having fun.
After high school I spent time in the military then went to trade school and studied electrical wiring. After some time traveling around the USA, a small bit of Mexico, and a small bit of Canada, I came back to Vermont and eventually become a licensed Master Electrician.
While in the United States of America’s military, I started taking college classes and continued doing so part time for the next 15 years, eventually receiving my Associate Degree from the Community College of Vermont. I then spent the next 10 years working on my Baccalaureate Degree, graduating from the College of Saint Joseph in Rutland, Vermont in 2002.
I have owned and operated Boise’s Electrical Service since 1985 and continue to make my living working as an electrician. I studied at College because I wanted to not because I needed a degree for what I was already doing. After the first couple classes I gained a passion for learning and just continued on with it.
I enjoy talking and writing when I can. My mother used to tell me that I was born with the gift of gab I think it was just a nice way of telling me that I talk a lot or maybe too much. For this reason I decided to join Toastmasters International so as to learn how to turn my passion for talking into a passion for speaking.
I also like to write and when I do it is normally about something that I am either pissed off about or have an interest in or sometimes about thoughts that I am just pondering, (food for thought). I invite you to read my blog if you are interested there is a link on this page.
Having my name registered as a domain name seems to me to be a bit presumptuous. I registered it about 15 or so years ago when I was considering the possibility of getting into politics. It was all the rage back then to do so if one was considering politics. Now I just use it as a holding page for some of the things that I am up to.
